Sonakshi Sinha, who tied the knot with actor Zaheer Iqbal in June 2024, recently shared insights into her life post-marriage and her close bond with her in-laws. In a candid chat with Haarsh Limbachiyaa on Bharti TV, Sonakshi opened up about her family dynamics, revealing that she and Zaheer live with his parents and enjoy spending time together as one big, happy family.

Speaking fondly about her relationship with her husband’s family, Sonakshi said, “Yes, we go together for holidays. They are all very chill, and they have a lot of fun together. It’s a very close-knit family.” She expressed how naturally she fits into their lives, calling them warm and welcoming.
Interestingly, the actress also revealed that the decision to live with her in-laws was entirely her own. “Zaheer had asked me before marriage if I want to live separately from my in-laws, but I said no. I told him, ‘I will live with them; if you want to go, you go’,” she shared with a laugh.
Sonakshi also spoke about the lighter side of her domestic life, admitting that neither she nor her mother-in-law knows how to cook. “I don’t cook at all. My mother cooks so well, and her only thing is that her daughter doesn’t know how to cook. My mother-in-law also doesn’t know how to cook, and she says that you got married in the correct house. She said, ‘Don’t worry, tu sahi ghar pe aayi hai’. I’m fond of eating, but not cooking,” Sonakshi added.
On the work front, Sonakshi is gearing up for the release of her upcoming supernatural thriller Jatadhara, co-starring Sudheer Babu and Shilpa Shirodkar. The film marks her Telugu debut and is slated to release on November 7, 2025, in both Telugu and Hindi.
