About the film
Helmed by Anshul Sharma, the movie features Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, R. Madhavan, and Gautami in lead roles. Following these, the movie also stars Ishita Dutta, Meezaan Jaffrey, and Javed Jaffrey in key roles.
The movie picks up from where it left off. After Ashish (Ajay Devgn) finally gets his own family to accept his relationship with the much younger Ayesha (Rakul Preet Singh), an even tougher challenge awaits him — winning over her parents.
This is where Rakesh (R. Madhavan) and Anju (Gautami Kapoor) enter the story. The film is backed by T-Series Films and Luv Films.
De De Pyaar De 2 Review
The review of De De Pyaar De 2 by India.com reads, “De De Pyaar De 2 has occasional charm, with strong performances from Madhavan, Gautami, Meezaan, and Javed. However, the lead pair’s underwhelming chemistry, inconsistent comedy, and a somewhat predictable story make the sequel feel like a half-baked continuation rather than a compelling addition. Overall, it is an average sequel with glimpses of fun and warmth but lacks the cohesion and spark of the original film.”
