It has now been 25 years of togetherness for Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai since being married. One of Bollywood’s most famous couples has somehow always managed to appear on their fans’ feed. From rumours of them parting ways to dismissing those rumours by attending their daughter Aaradhya’s function, Abhishek and Aishwarya have grabbed the attention of netizens.
Recently, the two again made headlines when Abhishek won the Best Actor Debut at Filmfare 2025 and dedicated the award to his wife Aishwarya. This reignited rumours once again, even though Abhishek mentioned Aishwarya and Aaradhya in his winning speech. However, netizens breathed a sigh of relief when an unseen video of Aishwarya and Abhishek celebrating Karwa Chauth surfaced online. But to fans’ disappointment, the video they thought was from this Karwa Chauth turned out to be an old one.

In the viral video, Abhishek Bachchan donned a black suit, complemented by his moustache. Soon, we get to see a glimpse of Aishwarya. The actress looks absolutely gorgeous in a bright red suit with gold embroidery. As soon as the video went viral on the internet, many fans thought it was from the latest Karwa Chauth festivities.

However, this video was actually shot in 2019. It was from when Abhishek and Aishwarya attended Mukesh Ambani’s sister Nina Kothari’s daughter Nayantara Kothari’s pre-wedding bash.
Netizens’ Reaction to Abhishek & Aishwarya’s Video
While one section of the internet believed that it was a recent video of the two, many pointed out that the video was an old one. One user wrote, “Wrong information, this is not a Karwa Chauth video. It’s from the Ambani pre-wedding bash for their niece Nayantara Kothari in 2019,” whereas another wrote, “This is ancient (8–10 years old).”
Now, fans are speculating that something has happened between Aishwarya and Abhishek, hence the actress’s absence during Abhishek’s big day.
