Bollywood actor Dharmendra who was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai has finally been discharged.
Actor Dharmendra, who has been in the news for days now because of his health has finally been discharged from the Breach Candy Hospital on Wednesday (November 12). The actor was rushed to the hospital on Monday afternoon after complaining of breathlessness. According to a report by PTI, doctors at Breach Candy Hospital confirm the the discharge of Dharmendra. The news comes as a sigh of relief for all the He-Man fans.
An official statement from doctors from the Breach Candy Hospital reads, “Dharmendra ji has been discharged from the hospital around 7:30 am. He will be treated at home as the family has decided to give him home treatment.”
The development comes after several videos showing an ambulance arriving at and leaving Dharmendra’s residence surfaced on social media.
Before news of Dharmendra’s discharge broke, his son Bobby Deol was spotted entering the hospital. Following the actor’s hospitalisation, there was a huge hullabaloo in the media about his critical condition. Several reports claimed that the veteran actor was on a ventilator and that his condition was serious.
However, his family — including wife Hema Malini and daughter Esha Deol — took to social media to dismiss the false reports, assuring fans that the veteran actor was very much alive and responding well to treatment. They further confirmed that he is in stable condition. Dharmendra had been admitted to a Mumbai hospital earlier this week.
Meanwhile, earlier an official statement from Sunny Deol’s team read, “Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy during this time. We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you.”
