Social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, widely known as Orry, has been asked by Mumbai Police to appear for questioning in connection with a massive Rs 252 crore drug trafficking case. The summons was issued on Wednesday, 19 Nov 2025, by the Anti‑Narcotics Cell (ANC) Ghatkopar unit. Orry is required to report at 10 AM on Thursday, 20 Nov 2025.

The case traces back to a major bust in July 2025, when Mumbai and Mysuru police uncovered a mephedrone manufacturing unit, seizing drugs worth over Rs 300 crore. During the investigation, authorities arrested Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh, an alleged drug dealer who was later extradited from Dubai. In his interrogation, Shaikh claimed he arranged drug‑laden parties in India and abroad and said several celebrities, including Orry, attended or facilitated these gatherings.
Based on Shaikh’s statements, the ANC identified Orry as someone who might have information about the network. Hence, a formal summons was sent to his residence, directing him to the Ghatkopar ANC office for recording his statement.
