Soon after the news of veteran actor Dharmendra being hospitalised broke, fans were left worried. Not just that, fans were concerned about what had happened to the actor. Now, in a new update, it has been revealed that the actor was admitted to the ICU. However, he is doing much better now, and there is nothing to worry about.
What Happened to Dharmendra?
On Friday night, journalist Vickey Lalwani shared on social media that Dharmendra was rushed to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai after experiencing breathlessness.
“Dharmendra came in complaining of breathlessness. He is in the ICU and he is sleeping now,” a person from the hospital, cited by the journalist, said. He further added, “He came in complaining of breathlessness. He is in the ICU.”
How is Dharmendra’s Health Now?
The anonymous staff member also revealed that Dharmendra is “stable” and said, “No, right now nothing to worry. He is stable. His parameters are okay—the heart rate is 70, the blood pressure is 140 by 80. His urine output is also good.”
News of Dharmendra’s hospitalisation broke on Friday evening, following a source cited by India Today, who stated, “Someone may have spotted him and created a news piece. He is absolutely fine and there’s nothing to be worried about. He is in great spirits and just went for his scheduled tests.”
However, as per NDTV’s report, the actor has been admitted for the last 5 days.
Earlier this year, Dharmendra underwent an eye graft surgery. A video of him leaving the hospital with a bandaged eye went viral. He later told the paparazzi, “I am strong. Abhi bhi Dharmendra mein bahut dum hai. Abhi bhi jaan rakhta hoon. Meri aankh, eye graft (corneal transplantation) ho gayi hai. I am strong. Love you, my audience and my fans.”
