In a candid conversation with YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, Lalwani revealed the reasons behind his bold career move. The actor was earning between Rs 15000-Rs 25000 per day, but felt a strong passion towards films. He recalled having a conversation with his father, Romesh Lalwani, who suggested him a practical yet supportive perspective. “My father told me to take the offer, as the money I was earning per day was equivalent to his month’s income,” the actor said.
From television to films
Before venturing into films, Lakshya built a steady career in television. He starred in notable shows such as Warrior High, Adhuri Kahaani Hamari, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, and Porus. After stepping away from TV, he made his film debut with Kill, an intense action thriller that earned him recognition. More recently, he starred in Aryan Khan’s Netflix series The Ba**ds of Bollywood, in which he portrayed a gritty and layered role, proving audiences a new and creative side of his artistry.
