Here’s everything you need to know about the original ‘Duniya Haseeno Ka Mela’ girl- whom Mona Singh replaced in Aryan Khan’s The Ba***ds of Bollywood.

Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, has become one of the most talked-about shows in recent times, due to its gritty plot and jaw-dropping climax. But one element that caught many off guard was the recreation of the 1997 iconic Duniya Haseeno Ka Mela, starring Mona Singh through VFX.
The creator and director of the show, Aryan smartly uses VFX to morph Mona’s face onto the original background dancer, triggering instant nostalgia among fans. The song, first featured in the 1997 Bobby Deol’s hit Gupt, featured actor Bhanu Khan in an electrifying avatar as a glamorous bartender dancing beside the lead actor. Clad in all-white ensemble, Bhanu captivated audiences with her strikable charm and sizzling screen presence.
Who is Bhanu Khan?
While she has been a recognisable face in the 90s, Bhanu’s name was often overlooked. She was a leading dancer in many popular songs including ‘Tere Ishq Mein Naachenge’ from Raja Hindustani (1996), ‘Gutur Gutur’ from Dalaal (1993), ‘Ram Kasam Mera Bada Naam Ho Gaya’ from a Sanjay Dutt film, and Sarhad’s ‘Doodh Ban Jaaoongi Malai Ban Jaaoongi’. Alongside her in the song from Gupt was Mahru Shaikh clad in a black dress. She later shifted to television and garnered recognition for her role as Apoorva Agnihotri’s mother in Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin.
