Amidst the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict, distressing reports have emerged of an unsettling incident involving Hamas individuals parading a woman’s naked and injured body through the streets of Israel in the back of a pickup truck.
As depicted in videos circulating on social media, a crowd surrounds the Hamas vehicle, their cries echoing as they mistreat the woman’s body.
Initially, Hamas claimed that the victim was a female Israeli soldier, as reported by news.com.au. However, Adi Louk has since confirmed on X that the woman seen in the video is her sister, Shani Louk, who is a German citizen and a tattoo artist, as reported by the New York Post.
Shani Louk’s mother, in a video message shared by Visegrad 24 on X, has verified her daughter’s identity and has reached out to the public for any information regarding her whereabouts. According to Shani’s first cousin, the victim had been reported missing after militants took control of an open-air festival on Saturday morning.
Tomasina Weintraub-Louk, Shani’s cousin, who confirmed the victim’s identity, remains hopeful for positive news, stating, “It is definitely Shani. She was at a music festival for peace. This is a nightmare for our family,” as reported by news.com.au.
The music festival attended by Shani was reportedly one of the first locations targeted by Hamas militants. The situation remains deeply concerning, and further updates are eagerly awaited.
The initial attack involved a substantial barrage of 5,000 rockets fired by the Hamas militant group on Israel on Saturday morning, followed by their infiltration into the country. Foreign nationals have also been captured by the militants, with reports of seven Nepalis injured in Israel and 17 taken hostage by Hamas terrorists.
The latest conflict has resulted in approximately 500 casualties in both Israel and Palestine.
