Kantara Chapter 1 box office collection: Everyone knew that Rishabh Shetty’s film Kantara Chapter 1 would create box office history, but few expected the movie to become the highest-grossing film of 2025, both in India and worldwide. Released on October 2nd, this Kannada film has been in theaters for just 12 days, and in this short time, it has surpassed several major films. Even on its 12th day, the film broke another major box office record. Kantara Chapter 1 Total Collection in All Languages in 13 Days
Seeing the craze of the Kannada film Kantara, released in 2022, the makers also released its prequel in five languages pan-India — Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Rishabh Shetty’s movie got a good opening in all the languages along with its original language.
According to reports in Saiknlik.com, on the 13th day of its release, the movie has collected Rs 13.5 crore. While the film’s total collection in Hindi has reached Rs 149.25 crore in 13 days, it has collected Rs 78.15 crore in Telugu, Rs 142.7 crore in Kannada, Rs 35.8 crore in Malayalam, and Rs 46 crore in Tamil. At the domestic box office, the film has grossed Rs 465 crore (Rs 540.3 crore net).

Kantara Chapter 1 Breaks Salman Khan’s Sultan Record
After surpassing films like Padmaavat, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Saaho in the past few days, Kantara Chapter 1 has now broken the lifetime collection record of Salman Khan’s 2016 film Sultan. Sultan had a lifetime net collection of Rs 300.45 crore and a gross collection of Rs 417.29 crore in India, both of which have now been broken. Kantara Chapter 1’s next target is Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2.
