S.S. Rajamouli’s iconic Baahubali franchise is returning to theatres in a reimagined avatar, Baahubali: The Epic. The remastered single-film version unites both Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion into one seamless narrative.
S. S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Epic packs two films into 3 hours 40 minutes
As anticipation builds for its 31 October 2025 release, reports confirm that the runtime of Baahubali: The Epic will be around 3 hours and 40 minutes. Interestingly, this combined version is still shorter than the runtime of Pushpa: The Rule – Reloaded, making it a remarkable feat in cinematic editing.
By condensing two sprawling blockbusters into a tighter presentation, the film promises to retain the grandeur, emotions, and visual spectacle that made Baahubali a global milestone, while maintaining a gripping pace for audiences.
The special edition will feature restored visuals, selective alterations, and even previously unseen scenes, offering fans a fresh yet nostalgic experience. Baahubali: The Epic will release in multiple premium formats, including IMAX, 4DX, D-Box, Dolby Cinema, and EPIQ across Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam languages.
