Salman Khan paid a courtesy visit to the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, at Raj Niwas in Leh on Saturday.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who is currently shooting for his upcoming war drama Battle of Galwan, paid a courtesy visit to the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, at Raj Niwas in Leh on Saturday. According to a Raj Bhavan spokesperson, the Lieutenant Governor and his wife warmly welcomed Khan by presenting a traditional Khatak and Thangka.
Salman Khan’s Courtesy Visit
Salman was dressed in a blue shirt and denim jeans and had a wonderful meeting with Ladakh’s LG. The pictures, which are now circulating online, show both Salman and Kavinder grinning ear to ear as they got papped.
Salman also received a Thangka canvas painting from the Ladakh LG as a special gift. It featured a view of Buddha’s life in a traditional Buddhist art style.
The Office of the Lt. Governor of Ladakh took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and wrote, “Bollywood icon Salman Khan paid a courtesy visit to the Hon’ble Lt. Governor Shri @KavinderGupta at the Raj Niwas, #Leh.”

Salman Khan’s courtesy visit came during his shooting schedule in Leh for his upcoming film Battle of Galwan. The Bollywood superstar has officially begun filming for the much-anticipated project.
