7 coveted couturiers win the FDCI Hall of Fame award for their enormous contribution to elevating design – Rahul Mishra, Gaurav Gupta, Falguni and Shane Peacock, Anju Modi, Varun Bahl, Shantanu, and Nikhil, and Amit Aggarwal, while Rajesh Pratap Singh wins the newly instituted ‘India Fashion Award’.
The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) held a dazzling ceremony at the Taj Palace Hotel in the capital to honor eight eminent couturiers in its third edition of the Hall of Fame awards. The event, which took place on a Sunday, was a celebration of the remarkable achievements and global presence of these designers, who have played a crucial role in putting India on the map of international fashion.
The prestigious Hall of Fame awards recognized the following talented designers for their outstanding contributions:
Rahul Mishra: Known for his impeccable craftsmanship and intricate designs, Rahul Mishra’s creations have garnered global acclaim, making a significant impact on the fashion world.

In addition to the Hall of Fame awards, the newly instituted India Fashion Award was presented to Rajesh Pratap Singh. Known for his simplicity of thought and craft, Rajesh Pratap Singh’s designs have left an indelible mark in the fashion industry.
The India Fashion Award, a notable addition to the event, will undergo audits by renowned big four firms to ensure its authenticity and credibility.

Distinguished personalities from various industries presented the awards, including Tarun Garg, COO Hyundai India; Jaspreet Chandok, Group VP, Reliance Brands Limited; TV actress Mandira Bedi; Rekha Purie from India Today; Avarna Jain, Vice-chairperson of SaReGama; and Preeti Goenka, an art connoisseur from the RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, among others.
In his address, Sunil Sethi, Chairman of FDCI, highlighted the significance of the Hall of Fame awards in paying homage to the brilliance of these couturiers.
