The announcement video offered the first look at Shah Rukh Khan’s new avatar — a sharp, silver-haired anti-hero exuding menace and charisma in equal measure. The action-packed glimpse, directed by Siddharth Anand, hints at a slick, high-octane entertainer that promises to redefine how audiences see the superstar on screen.
Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, King is slated for a 2026 release and marks Anand’s second collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan after the blockbuster success of Pathaan. The film, described as the director’s “massiest” project yet, blends international-scale action with Anand’s signature storytelling style, positioning SRK in a role that radiates power, mystery, and intensity.
