So once we were just travelling and, this is before we got married… On our drive back, we were just hearing that song on loop, and she also started enjoying it. And then she very cutely made a video of singing that song in Punjabi.”

Vicky recalled that Katrina assumed the track was a romantic Punjabi melody. But in reality, it had a heavy gangster vibe — the kind that talks about guns, warnings and threats. He continued, “She sang that song and she’s like ‘I’m going to sing this song…’ She thought it’s a romantic song. And that song had such a gangster vibe… and she’s like ‘Yeh please kisi ke saamne mat gaana, yeh correct gaana nahi hai’.”
The confession left everyone on the set in splits.
How did Katrina’s playlist change after meeting Vicky?
Kriti Sanon then chimed in, revealing her own observation. She shared that she and Katrina used to work out in the same gym, and she immediately noticed a shift in Katrina’s music choices once she began dating Vicky.
Kriti said, “That was when she started dating you. Suddenly, her playlist changed. Suddenly her playlist had Punjabi music… because that was definitely not the songs she was listening to before.” Katrina had simply smiled and said she liked the new vibe and was happy to adopt it.
